Strong digital learning progress at Linda Community School
Mwabu recently conducted an unannounced monitoring visit to Linda Community School, south of Lusaka, Zambia, to review how Mwabu Learn digital resources are being used in classrooms. The school serves more than 3,200 learners from Early Childhood Education to Grade 7 and operates a two-shift system with only eight teachers, making effective use of digital tools especially important. In April 2026 the school purchased four smartphones and four tablets loaded with Mwabu Learn digital resources, as well as three projectors teachers share on a rotational basis to bring Mwabu Learn content into their classrooms.

The visit found strong commitment from school leadership, digital champions and teachers. The Head Teacher, Ms Doreen Nzila, is actively encouraging the integration of Mwabu Learn through classroom monitoring, mentoring and teacher support. Digital Champions Ms Gloria Kunda and Mr Robson Phiri are coordinating device access, charging, technical support and projector scheduling, helping teachers use resources consistently.
Classroom observations showed high learner engagement, good classroom management and growing teacher confidence in using digital content alongside prescribed textbooks. A peer-support model is also working well, with digitally confident teachers helping colleagues build their skills. One Grade 3 teacher successfully delivered an engaging Science lesson using Mwabu Learn despite not attending the initial product training, demonstrating the impact of school-based mentoring.
